Miles and miles of Sandy Beaches for walking, biking, jogging, building sand castles, washer pitching, horseshoes, shelling, and the best sun bathing you can find. Check with the front desk, we always have some frisbees and footballs to loan out to you for some beach fun. Also available are beach rentals down near the pier for surfing, sailboarding, jet skiing, parasailing and so many other ways to have fun . . . . . OR, just lay on the beach and relax!!

Don't forget to stop in at the IGA or a few other locations to get a Beach Parking Permit. Only $12 for the whole year and they help the city to maintain the beaches in their most beautiful state.

As part of the Great Texas Coastal Birding Trail, the Port Aransas Birding Center is a great local start. Also nearby is the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge.

FISHING
Fish right out front in the surf; at the Pier just down the beach 1 1/4 miles, at the Jetty down the beach 1 1/2 miles or at the Bay and Channel piers only 2 1/2 miles away. Port Aransas also has numerous Party and Charter boat opportunities (where the fish bite every day).
